Best ATO for Nano Aquarium?

The little plastic piece is ~$11-12 on Amazon. Bottle is a 1.5L "Essentia Alkaline Water", which I picked because it has a bit of a stronger plastic bottle than other brands--Evian also works well. Drank the water, didn't use it to top off :~)

Also, the label comes off clean.

But ok, it doesn't look too bad. I am still leaning a bit more towards an automated one, but I'll definitely look into one like yours too!

The sensor is very.. sensitive. No pun intended. If I stick my hand into the tank and raise the level, it starts angry beeping at me.

Nice. Last question: would it work for a biocube? I was looking at reviews for it and some people said it wouldn't work for rimmed tanks?

You'd probably wanna look at the measurements for the refill pump. It has screws to tighten onto the rim, but it'll depend on your tanks thickness.

How does the Hygger ato work for you? And how long have you had it?

I have 3 and they're great... Provided the glass is clean. It has an optical sensor so dirty glass screws with its ability to work. Otherwise, a rather solid unit.

I have one on my biocube. I have no idea why people are saying it won't worked for rimmed tanks. It's *meant* for rimmed tanks. Just put this ATO in the pump chamber and call it good.

+1 for this. Got mine for 7 bucks added a 2 buck water bottle and for 9 bucks you have 100% certainty of no over flows and refill every 2 days or so. Easy and no moving parts so no issues waiting to happen.

Tunze on my 3 systems. One nano is 6+ years old and still working on my 45 frag system.
My 18" AIO nano cube runs the same with the pump in a 5g bucket.

Reef Breeders EXO. Cheap, easy to setup, and reliable. Don't go with the Reef Breeders Prism. That one has the sensor inside the box and it's prone to leakage and failure.
