That’s exactly right .... understandable I suppose given it’s not supposed to get that cold in Texas. Wind turbines work fine in cold climates with the correct kit.

I think they have system problems across the board. Some heads are going to roll. One of the largest is they don't buy energy from outside the state. Big mistake in this case.

Yes, agree .... I was just using irony. Basic problem is Texas doesn’t expect something like this and none of their infrastructure is hardened for a major freeze. That they chose decades ago to have their own grid just exacerbates the challenge.
