My second tank (frag tank)... maybe two weeks after I put my first fish in my main tank I was on the local club's deals & steals and saw a great deal on a frag system setup... The rest is history..

I have to fight the urge to buy every tank on my local club's page..

My biggest impulse buy was when I upgraded to my Red Sea reefer 250, had a set of dual Kessil a160we with the spectral controller, decided this wasn’t enough and wasn’t happy with the adjustability, decided to redo the entire setup, first for the new setup thanks to BRS was the Neptune apex system, Neptune ato v2, hydra52hd, Neptune Par monitor, two mp10qd (for the frag tank) gyre 3k (x2). Didn’t realize what I did until I pushed order. Was a little sucker punch to the gut when I saw the total.

I've done it a few times. My most memorable was last saturday. I always wanted a gold torch. Was at a frag swap and there it was! I was able to talk down the price a bit and handed over the cash. Couldnt be happier!

Wanted like 5 females and a male Anthia. Ended up with 10 and a male because you of "10 lot" pricing. Wholesale pricing really makes it hard not to be impulsive sometimes. They really do add a lot of movement to the tank though and increased the activity of the other fish. I'm terrified for the aussie acro colonies to start coming in though... I'm gonna have to get a 3rd job The ol' ball and chain isn't gonna be happy when I set up the fresh import quarantine setup before I set up her tank though lol.
