Birdnest coralHELP!!!

So this is the second time I give the green birdnest a try.
paramater are where they are suppose to be.
first time around it was higher on the rocks I have lowered it down like 5 inches.
can anybody help to why this is happening please. My first one started like this until I lost everything.
every other coral looks amazing just this one I have difficulty with

It would also be helpful if you could tell us what your current parameters are.

So just to help it’s very important to share your parameters. Your good doesn’t mean anything to us. I’ve looked through your post history to find info and it’s a pattern. My guess is you were like me years ago and just want an answer. If you have the parameters list them, you will actually get help that way. Otherwise we are all guessing based off how you describe a situation. Numbers are way more valuable and extremely important in this hobby.

Do you have a way of testing PAR? Might be too much light

IME birdsnests are the first coral to show issues when having alk swings or your alk is off. Like others have said numbers help give a bigger picture. Is this your only sps coral?

I do not, but I thought this may be the problem so I lowered it. I haven’t seen it getting worse as fast as before but it’s still not nice looking

As for light and settings. I have 2 aqua knight v2 and run them from 9am to 9pm

What do I do. I have always thought those guys were doing the best as they always are fully extended and looking nice.
