SS34 in Radioactive Red
Got most of the plumbing dry fit this weekend, just waiting on a few parts to finish it up and start gluing. Its starting to get real now.
The ammonia on my rocks (still in the Brute can) wasn't falling, think I pushed it too high, over 4ppm. I ordered some "Nite-Out II" by Microbe-Lift. Says it contains Nitrosomonas sp. and Nitrobacter sp. and dosed the correct amount seems to have lowered the ammonia some. I'll keep pushing the ammonia higher and dosing the Nite-Out.
Unfortunately the powder blue died in QT, unsure of why. It did have a red abrasion in the stomach region. So I did a water change on the QT.
A few locals have been using a salt mix that isn't widely used to my knowledge and they love it so I decided to give it a shot on this tank. It's H&W Marinemix Professional, hope it gives good results.

One of my faves, if/when mine goes I'll probably take a 3 day bereavement leave from work haha
Yeah it sucks, not knowing why really irritates me. No outward signs of issues before, ate well, had been medicated, been through full quarantine protocol, I've had it since the beginning of the year. Really need to get this thing going and get those fish in a real tank.

I believe I posted a wrasse literary already but here's what I've got:
- Orange sided fairy
- Pair of splendid pin tail fairy
- Female African leopard
What I want to add:
- Male Flame
- Rhomboid
- Red Velvet

Just can't wait to see the pin tails in a real display, I've had them over two months and they've been under bland lighting surrounded by PVC pipes.

One of my LFS has another females I've been considering adding just can't bring myself to pull the trigger.
It's my initials. Nothing fancy. Definitely not Burger King or British Knights.

The multicolor velvet is nice also can be a little nasty sometimes but mine is good so far

I have a 55g packed with a few and just put a black fin fairy and exquisite in qt yesterday.
