Do you have a pic you could post to confirm the diagnosis? Prazi is going to be the safest treatment for black ich but you need to be very careful using it with copper, prazi reduces the available oxygen in the water and combining it with copper can cause a bacterial bloom that will further reduce oxygen. If he's already been in copper for 30 days you could probably end it and start with the prazi. Of course, @HotRocks will know better than I do though

Keep us posted :) Good luck
i ordered the Prazipro comes in tomorrow after work ill dose 2.45 ML and see what happens i can slowly start doing bigger water changes with out copper to lower the levels hopefully the ich is gone for good

You will need to get copper out of the water before dosing Prazi. Dose 2.45ml and then again 2.45ml 5-7 days later. 2 doses gets the job done.

now would you do a water change in those 5-7 days then do a second dose or wait 5-7 and do a second dose into that medicated water

Prazi degrades in the water column pretty quickly and does its work within 24 hours. The second dose in 5 to 7 days will kill any hatchlings the first dose didn't kill. It will be a good idea to do a water change after 24 hours because of how much prazi reduces available oxygen

You can increase dosage or switch to hyposalinity. How far along are you in copper?

You can double the dose of prazi without ill effects to the fish, typically.

Most black ich lately is prazi resistant.

You will want to treat the fish with formalin.

However, make sure you aren't seeing scaring. If the spots were completely gone during treatment, it's likely not scaring.

The best way to be sure that the worms are completely gone is to put a white Molly in with them to be sure they are gone.

Is fenbendazole an effective treatment for black ich?
