Ordered some Blue Star Leopard Wrasses as its what I've been wanting since we set the tank up. Over a year of digging through forums, talking to folks, and research. They finally arrived today [emoji7] I ordered 3 females, hoping for 2 to survive shipping, but all 3 made it! Could not be more thrilled.

Ugh! I had one for about 6 months he was my favorite, then my dad came over one day and decided he wanted to help clean the glass a little bit and scared the hell out of him he jumped and I didn't realize it until a day later. :(

It could be the photo, but it looks like at least on of those "gals" is actually a "guy". The little fella on the left looks (to me) to be transitioning male. Hard to tell they all sort of have the darkening face and transitioning markings but it could be the photo. The one on the left though... Maybe name that one "Bruce" and the others Cai-- Nevermind that's poor taste. :D

@eatbreakfast @evolved do you gentlemen agree or am I losing my mind?

By the way beautiful fish. My mixed leopard wrasses are so beautiful I absolutely treasure them.

I love BSL wrasses. I have a male and female and after getting the 2 to get along, watching them is very enjoyable!

Seeing your pic makes me want to add a couple of females for my male. (If I was at home I'd post a transitioning pic and a more recent pic showing the color changes.)

Beautiful trio you have there!
They'll do great if they're eating frozen mysis already; my male loves the LRS Frenzy blends.

It would be fine if one was transitioning, obviously I expect it with 3. As long as only one transitions :) they were sold as females.
They weren't fond of LRS just yet, but I'm sure they'll figure it out soon :)
Mine came from LA as well. Can't beat that guarantee. Plus they were running 20% off and free shipping over $175. So I went for it.

@eatbreakfast and @evolved - any tips on getting them to eat? The one that has come out today hasn't eaten the frozen mysis. I called around and nobody has live brine or blackworms. What is my best option?

Any time I have had small leopards, small foods, such as cyclopeeze, calanus, san fransisco reef plankton, or fish eggs have worked.

I've tried fish eggs with no luck. I'll have to look for some Cyclopeeze and the others. Thank you.
