Have the same tank as you...talking about fish, I had a tail spot blennie (Bennie) but I lost all 3 fish in a power outage...I am very cautious who I'm putting with who...so right now I have a yellow watchman and tiger shrimp in the tank...and a purple fire fish and chalk bass in QT for two weeks with copper and Prazipro...it is great looking forward to a peaceful tank...had a yellow tail damsel before the crash...really regretted having him...stupid mistake... anyhow these three will be it...good luck to you...;)

Thanks for the reply! Sorry to hear about your losses. The new additions should be sweet! Ill have to check out your thread.

What is yours under? I can't seem to find it

Today I was observing my tank after track practice and one of my Armor of God Zoa polyps kinda looks shriveled up. Not closed but like a raisin lol. Anyone have any ideas for what's happening? I'm going to dip it when I get back to my room and probably move it to a different location in the tank.

Also I'm having a hard time figuring out where to place corals so if anyone has any suggestions please chime in :)

Oh ok well this is my build thread and Ill be posting progress throughout so feel free to ask questions and such:)

What chamber do you have the ghost skimmer in?

I have it in the second chamber. Media Basket in the first and heater/ato in the return

Here is a quick FTS I just took. Does anyone have any ideas on Coral Placement? I want to permanently place them in here but im just not quite sure where to place everything.

2nd to the left next to the over flow...its a touch and go thing...also have a problem with microbubbles from the skimmer...I put filter pads all around the skimmer to block the bubbles, seems to help some...also, I just got a filter sock...removed that plastic filter thing and put a carbon pad + phosphate pad right in the sock...its only been a few days but seems to block a lot of the detritus from going through the skimmer and going back into the tank...I have a top off between skimmer and out take...sort of crowded but that's the name of the game with the fusion nano 10...

I do have lot's of thoughts on placement...have a degree in interior design and esthetics are my main concern...I'll take a picture in next couple of days...mine up since June...

I have a fusion 10 and want to get either the ghost or Tunze 9001 but don't know if that one fits.
AS I said, I have the ghost...not perfect, but I think I'll get the bugs out once I get better control of my nutrients and other ongoing issues...it certainly fits...wondering how long you have been doing nano reefs...if your a newbie, I have a fantastic book (onKindle or paper) that I will recommend...even if your an old timer, this book is really good and I have been doing fish, fresh and salt for more than 45 years...:)

To Sikorsky, Bowen and Powers...the book is "the Nano Reef Handbook" by Chris Brightwell...covers all the bases intelligently...:)

I've seen that book in stores but the author limits the definition of nanos to 15 gallons max and that's why I never bought the book. But now that I have a 10 gallon nano maybe I should take another look at it. I have a book by Brightwell, Reef Chemistry and it's an excellent reference.
