I finally have enough stuff to start a build thread. I bought the tank 3 months ago, but have been waiting for construction on our new house to finish up.

Tank 36x24x18 Starphire glass.
ATI Sunpower 8 bulb 36 watt light fixture
60-ish pounds of dry Marco rock
2 Ea Vortech MP10-ES
Bubble Magnus Curve 5 skimmer
Marine Color Doser
Jebao DC 3000 return pump
Digital Aquatics Reefkeeper Lite controller
Custom sump (still being built).

Wow. Very nice. Can't wait to see it glowing and flowing.

Nice! I have the same size tank being built right now so I'll be following this thread closely!

Nice dimension on the tank, I am doing one very similar at 40x24x18.

What are those brackets you used for hanging your light?

That will be awesome. I bought the brackets from Cadlights for $129 and they suck. The finish on the stainless is terrible, the welds look horrible and the holes that are punched in the top crossmembers are different sizes. I had to figure out my own way to hang them as the hooks provided didnt fit through the holes on one side. I will likely end up painting them white.

Beautiful tank!
