Hahah my thoughts at the time exactly. I have had dogs my whole life, dachshunds mainly. My wife lost her grandpa last year whom she was close with and she really wanted the kittens as a grieving mechanism, it was hard to say no. I really love them now though, they are awesome. This is why I have dogs.

Lol very true! Yea these guys are more dog like than any dog I’ve ever had! They follow me around, always want love, they listen to orders surprisingly well. They have different pitched meows that I’ve started to figure out to see what they are wanting. No exaggeration I can really hear certain meows and know it’s box scooping time, food time, open the door so they can look outside time, just pet me time. It’s so cool. I probably sound crazy lol.Kittens are a mess, once they hit about 3 or 4 years old they are much more tolerable. I only keep male cats, their personalities tend to be more dog like. And I only keep female dogs, because, well, smegma is gross
Lol, not at all. My cat is the same, he has his different chirps and yowls. The 1am ones are a bit annoying.. hahaLol very true! Yea these guys are more dog like than any dog I’ve ever had! Nah, you don't sound crazy. My scottie has different ways of communicating with me. Like I know when he wants out. He doesn't go to the door, he comes and jumps at the couch where I'm sitting and pushes at it with his front feet then sits there anxiously wagging his tail. Other times he wants attention, or to just cuddle... jeez, after he goes outside in the morning and eats breakfast, he loves to go back to bed and snuggle up. He'll lay right up next to me and get me to scratch his chest.Lol very true! Yea these guys are more dog like than any dog I’ve ever had! Aww how cuteNah, you don't sound crazy. My scottie has different ways of communicating with me. Like I know when he wants out. He'll be 4 on Oct 1st and is VERY obedient. We walk to the mailbox OFF LEASH all the time. I live in a neighborhood with 1 acre lots, so neighbors are always around. He follows right by me and doesnt run off to chase neighbors, cars or even the evil attack squirrels. He knows a TON of words, but as far as tricks go, he know sit, lay, shake and stay. I cannot get him to bark, I've tried several times. He's only vocal when he hears something he doesnt like outside tho, not minor stuff, it has to be loud and scary. Or if the doorbell rings, that means a new friend is at the door. I swear he's learned one ring is kitchen door, two is front door. That or he hears the person at one door or the other.
Dinner, eat, treat, outside, inside, here, ride... oh man, he goes fool over the word ride. If you say ride, stay doesn't work... I usually speak sentences to him so he can get body language also, so he understands if there's a sense of urgency or he can explore a bit before we actually go inside. Like, "Come on Argyle, let's go inside" as opposed to "Argyle, inside now!"
what a perfect name for a little Scottie as well
You ?Hi good morning. guess who just turned 36 today ?
Happy Birthday !Thank you. It came from Brian Cox's character on Braveheart, Argyle Wallace. I could not come up with a name for him, I had been thru all kinds of Gaelic names(Angus, Malcom, Duncan) and different dog names(his father was Diesel, so that was out). I was on the way home with him and the character popped in my head and it just seemed to fit his personaity as a pup. Headstrong, dominant and determined. He's still like that now, he just understands I'm his buddy, and wants to be right next to me and make me happy.Aww how cutewhat a perfect name for a little Scottie as well
