Probably a little rhinotracheitis. Most likely need some neopolydex drops to help with inflammation so those tears can drain properly and you'll be in good shape.
Been a vet tech for 20 years now, it doesnt look too terrible but a trip to the Vet is in order. My cat used to get a similar thing going on, not so much that hes older.

Do you have a carrier for him? Make trips much easier and no chasing around the vet parking lot. I have had to climb under cars, or pull them out from under seats when they dont use a carrier. [emoji849]

Thank you so much for the detailed response! I do have a carrier for him but it’s pretty small for him now. I’ll grab a bigger one.

I have a controversial question. Do y'all think a megalodon could still exist? No, I haven't seen the movie yet. Just a curiosity.

I was watching a show the other day that said we've only explored 5% of the world's oceans. I think there's something a lot stranger out there than just the megalodon.

Get one with a door in the top, something like this pic, theres a few variations. Then you can load him into the carrier from the top, that will be much easier than trying to shove him in the front door. Just make sure the front door is latched... I didnt check and my cat escaped on the way to the car, had to reschedule his appointment.

If they have some feliway spray at the pet store, you can spray that into the carrier before you go. It's the pheromone the mama cat makes when they are nursing and some cats it makes a big difference in stress levels. Other cats couldn't care less, but it's worth a try. We have diffusers, and spray ourselves, bedding, etc with it at work. I'm at a certified cat friendly hospital.

Y'all see that "fakumentary" on the merpeople on Discovery a few years ago? They played it off and being real the whole time, then at the very end in a split second flash on the screen "this has been a fictional theory of what merpeople could be" or something like that... Discovery lost a lot of credibility and I started watching David Attenborough instead.
