I'm sure these new fangled lights have a plug right? Problem solved. In the mean time, we had some orange, peach, mango juice in the house, coco capt'n in that for me tonight.

I got one with my VIP ticket to Reef Dreams earlier this year. Bone cutters, scalpel(like I need more sharp, pointy objects), rubber tipped tweezers... and something else, likely hemostats. All I've used are the bone cutters and the scalpel, mainly the bone cutters to snip frag plug stems. Scalpel and tweezers work nicely on zoas. Dont have to glue your finger to the polyp. Came in a nice leather case too.

If you go to the makeup section in Walmart, the heavy duty toe nail clippers are the exact same thing as bone cutters in a frag kit. An x-acto knife kit is also nice to have for zoas and softies.

I got lucky and got a really sweet deal on ebay. They look brand new and have a nice leatherette case. I also got something else... you'll see.

My tank is on the back burner for a while. I have been changing it up, just no new equipment. My son's tank comes first. It's a mom thing I guess.

I dont have the same controller so im not sure why the lights didnt go off when planned but if you add a simple timer to cut power at whatever time you want you’ll be in business.

I did that with mine as a way to kill the fan once the lights turned off for the night. So the outlet gets powered 9am to 10pm. Light cycle is actually only 9:30am to 9:30pm.
