What are the bases like, any chance of gluing them so a small piece of rock to weigh them down.

I have the stony skeleton tip in a deep crevice in a sturdy rock ,just haven't glued it in the hole yet, will do that in the coming days, thanks @najer

I would use some epoxy putty and plaster that thing down (stony base) to a rock with some weight that can be moved without tearing you scape apart.
