anyone have any recommendations on t5 fixtures. im looking at the cheap t5 amazon fixtures 24'' 4bulb but I would like a 6 bulb setup. if anyone has a cheap 24x6 recommendation or one for sale please let me know
might also be interested in a 36" fixture too

So since it’s already 90+ degrees here I’m not to worried about getting a heater at the time. I plan on making some kind of heater/fan system to control the temperature to keep it semi stable. My lfs and the majority of the stores around don’t even use heaters. Everywhere I get corals from they focus on not having a perfectly stable environment so all my corals I’ve had sps included have survived 2 weeks power outages due to hurricanes

Salifert tests are about the cheapest with very accurate results. That is what I use for nitrates and was for phosphates until I got the Hanna checker.

I’m assuming they are MH? I’m worried about having those in my room. My rooms already hot as hell.

If you are on a budget, I would look at the Noopsyche K7 Pro's. They are VERY similar to the Hydra 26HD at almost 1/3 the price. Another option would be Black Box lights from Amazon (mars Aqua or Viparspectra).

Ok. I’m looking at the ai primes too. I currently have one and it grew sps like crazy in my 10g. I’m also highly considering t5s. Might build my own fixture later on. im concerned with t5s due to heat

Miracle isn't here yet. I've got everything ready for her though.
