Amazing customer support and helped me out with all my plumbing needs. Ordering tonight
Nick (I believe) helped me out and he had a 40breeder too and was able to answer all my questions on plumbing and lighting.
Can’t wait to get this tank plumbed and ready

So I’ve decided to go with 2 ai prime 16hd!
ais support is unmatched for me. Thanks to the team at Aqua illumination.
if anyone doesn’t think 2 ai prime 16hds are enough for some sps but mainly a mixed reef let me know.

2 Primes will be ok for a mixed reef and some SPS if place well. You may want to add a 3rd down the road. When I did 2 primes over my 40b I felt like it did not give real great coverage, added a 3rd and it helped even it out. That is something you can do later though.

Ok perfect. I planned on adding another in the future. One I can work again and save a bit of money

Been soaking the marble in a bucket with ro and vinegar. This weekend they will soak in straight ro for a week and then go into salt for another week or 2

Lighting I’ve decided to build a t5/led hybrid.

will be using 2 of these and adding one ai prime hd. The prime hd will be upgraded to 2 16hds when I sell it and get the money

If you're going to hang, you're going to have to do a better job of updating your own build thread or some people may give you a hard time. Not me though, never me, because I'm all sunshine and lollipops. Just ask around...

I hear that as I've dealt with sketchy people buying things from Craigslist, OfferUp and LetGo. Make arrangements to meet, go to the meeting place, wait... wait... wait... only to have them message me to say they sold the item to someone else. Then, of course, there are the no-shows who one never hears back from too. I'm not a big karma believer but, if there is such a thing, can only hope it stikes when these type of "gems" least expect or need it.

So I’ll be picking up a small dehumidifier for my room because I have the hottest/most humid room and t5s will suck (heat and humidity sucks in Florida) and I might pick up a mini ac unit or quiet tower fan to cool my room.

Should be fine with one viper centered about 12" over tank, could go with larger one but i think too much ,i had one over a 40 for years grew anything,including coralline,blues 80% whites/colors30%

Much needed update. Got the sand shipped. Drilled the overflow. Tomorrow drilling the return. I have reef saver like rock that’s super white and dead. How should I cure them quickly? I Want to cycle ASAP

can't rush it ,seed w some actual live rock,not a believer in cycle in a bottle,others will chime in

No where good around here has good live rock. Too many hitch hikers. I don’t think these rocks should leach many phosphates. The guy I got these dry rocks had a 10 day or so soak in RO.
