Have only been able to get tablets...I intend to crush them up good for my 10 nano which is definitely growing bryopsis...will this do?...otherwise I will follow all directions you gave...;Pompus...they are 100 mg. tabs...
In addition to NCREEFGUY, you can try the tablets and see if they are effective. One of the main concerns with the tablets were the binders used.
As mentioned there have been mixed results with the tablets as to the effectiveness.

I have my protien slimmer still on, just took the cup off. Will that ensure it will not skim any of the medication from the water? I'm still having buildup at top of the skimmer with the cup off

I had a little build up on mine as well and it didn't seem to effect my treatment. There have been some who skimmed the entire time without it effecting their treatment while others initial treatment didn't work because they felt like they may have skimmed out too much of the meds. I started skimming back to normal after the 3-4 day and everything went fine.

I'm going to delete all of my post between myself and @mcarroll I think it's best for the thread and for R2R.

p.s I'll copy and paste my answer to your #3768 post in a PM. I wouldn't want you to miss what I said in it. :D

I've found that the 'persistent' undesireable algaes, such as bryopsis, occur in tanks that do or do not dose carbon or run gfo. And that their are systems that don't have these algeas that do and do not run those either.

These are closed systems, there are going to be deficiencies in any tank because of that and artificial means supplement these deficiencies. Zero on any nutrients aren't good, but using artificial means to bring them closer to what is wanted by the targeted species in our tank shouldn't be looked down upon.

I'm interested in having more cases to look at if you'd like to share the cases you looked at.

(And I'm not sure if you read my post or maybe mixed up with someone else's. I'm the guy who pushes NO3 and PO4 dosing and balanced nutrients and talks anti-starvation.)

Are you agreeing with me or trying to pick an argument? I'm puzzled by the post, all the likes, and a number of other things.

Maybe you'd prefer to try and sort this out via PM as well?

Sorry @NCreefguy...this was definitely off-topic.

After

It took 2 rounds for a total of 60 days. I really started to notice a difference when I started dosing NoPox at the end of the second round. I now have a 240 gallon tank with absolutely no nuisance algae. Couldn't be happier with this product.

That's great to hear @MounteeFrag! I'm glad the treatments worked out for you. :)

Just picked up and dosed my second lot of fluconazole. As I had reported the original dose back in February cleared the bryopsis but it had come back over the last week. It has grown rapid but not as abundant as before.

Hoping the second dose knocks it out for good [emoji88]

Thanks for the alert, lets see if the members I mentioned will be able to help.

Also @StrangeDejavu does this torch killing Endolithic algae still exist in your tank?

I haven't seen anything since that torch died. The recession was getting bad so I threw it in the garbage, it seemed to only affect that one coral. I believe it was more along the lines of a sickness rather than an algae in my case.

I had the same thing a while back on a torch, it was brown jelly disease and it nearly wiped out my hammers and Duncan before I knew what it was. You did the right thing by tossing it IMO

I don't think this was brown jelly, it was a short and fuzzy, cottony white growth that started on the skeleton and seemed to chase the tissue inward. Either it was an opportunistic feeder, cleaning up the tissue as it receded or it was the cause of the recession, i'm still not 100%.

Did you get a picture of it? Interesting...
