Halfway through day 7 update:

The algae in the tank is 60-70% gone!!! If it isn't gone it's white with exception of only a few of the thickest locations.

* due to my high nitrates and possibly the rise in po4 some of my corals are show the effects of it. Hopefully they'll bounce back. I also noticed a few fish scratching. Ugh... will feed them some Dr G's. This is 100% my fault and not fluconazole. Just hope the algae is wiped out asap so I can get busy on knocking the po4 and no3 out. I don't want to chance slowing things down by putting gfo back online.

It's looks a lot better already! I mean, not that your tank looked bad before...You know, the algae and.....You know what I mean. :D

@prsnlty better say goodbye too it while you have a chance! :D
Lol, I think I do that every time I look at it [emoji12]

[emoji23] Yep, I know what you mean, thank you!

If it isn't completely gone by the 14 days I will do a couple of large water changes and retreat it. I think it will be though.

Day 11 update

Bryopsis has gone down even further to almost nothing, just a slight trace that it was even there. GHA still looking weak but not gone, and the bubble algae, I feel still doesn't show signs of death, maybe I'll try vibrant after. All livestock still happy and healthy!

I purchased 10 x 150mg tablets. You do have to purchase from different sources though. Max I found was 450mg at a time. You can get friends to buy also.

LOL...this sounds like an addiction talking! Can't you call a veterinarian to get it?

I turned my skimmer down just for O2 exchange (have a reeflo orca

Wait...Is it the old Reeflo Orca? I've got an old Reeflo Orca from back when they first came out and it's a skimming beast!! I'm not using it right now but I'll be setting it up on a future project. It can flat out pull mud out of the tank! I haven't heard anything about them in a long time.

I agree it's a beast! I couldn't believe it when I read that some else was still using them. It makes me sick seeing the poor excuse for skimmate that I'm getting out of my skimz skimmer now compared to what that thing pulls. I don't have my 100gal sump under the house anymore so I'm using a smaller in-sump skimmer under my stand and it's not the same, not even close.

Oh well sorry for the off topic posts. It just brought a smile to my face when I saw that you were using the Orca :)

My cyano started because of Vibrant.
Today is day 13 of my Fluconazole treatment. My cyano and what's left of my bryopsis are matted together. I decided to dose the chemiclean without doing a water change first. I will wait the 48 hours and do a large water change on Saturday.
Let me know if you see any weird effects

When the lights came on today, there were small pieces of white dead Bryopsis blowing around in the tank. It has begun to break apart and thin out now 5 days in to the treatment. :)

Day 5 of treatment....

On a side note (you'll notice to the far left) no hydroids were harmed during this treatment. :D

Hydroids... that's what those are. I've got a bunch of them and have always wondered. Thanks! Oh... and I ordered 10 capsules of fluconazole today. I just have a few patches of bryopsis, but would like to nip it in the bud.

Yeah mine are spreading and getting worse. I'm going to end up treating the tank with Fish Bendazole for those but haven't had a chance to yet.

If only there was a miracle fix for hydroids! Without nuking your tank that is.... I must have hundreds of thousands of them. Tried smashing them, super glue they just don't die [emoji26] Aptasia can be controlled better!
