Don't see any fan looking blades, but as far as I know there's around 45 types of it
Maybe this pic is better

I only have these in my fuge, that's why I'm not fighting it.
Thanks!

Yeah I think the last site I read there were over 55 different species of Bryopsis. Most of the bryopsis species that I've seen (even just a quick search of 8-10 different species) they have had some fern/fan like blades in with it. This may or may not be a common characteristic of all bryopsis species but I haven't looked up the other 45 species to say.

If it's GHA that you have Fluconazole has been clearing that out as well but not as quickly in the sump/refugium area as it has the DT and not quite as quickly as bryopsis.

Is it ok to dose vibrant after doing the fluco treatment just asking for a friend

I started treatment on Saturday and now I have a pretty bad cyano outbreak. Is this normal? I did turn the skimmer off for 4 days.

Tank update day 21. It's been one week sense doing my water change and adding carbon. Happy to say any gha that was left in my tank is either dead or very close to dead. Even with removing the meds it still seems to be withering away any remaining gha, either that or my cuc is doing some serious work. The timing of this treatment couldn't of come better I was about to do a serious upgrade to my filtration and really wanted to beat the algae before hand. I was successful in doing this and installed the upgrade last Thursday. I'm sure the new system is upping the results but I couldn't be happier to have my tank back I'll post another before picture for reference but I think it's safe to say I have beat my gha!

@frenkkk

Cambiare l'acqua in 14 giorni. Girare giù o mute skimmer, non utilizzare Purigen, mescolare il farmaco nella tazza di acqua nel serbatoio e poi messo nel serbatoio di fronte ad alto flusso a notte. Ora attendere 14 giorni.

Questo fa il senso?

Ok. Just changed my vote as I am now no longer mad that everyone is killing their Bryopsis.
Wish me luck. Cube first, then the 55.

saltyfilmfolks,
Good Luck!

Riding with you all the way. :)

Im at day 5 of treatment. When do I add my carbon back in the tank?
Skimming may remove meds still in your tank. If your tank is doing fine leave the fluco in to be absorbed by your algae. Not much of this is absolute so you will get some different recommendations from different reef heads. Use your best judgement being the only one who can see what is going on with your tank.

Good luck with the treatment. It should only take a couple of weeks. :)
Thanks man. I've got some odd stuff that I like in the tank. Acros, zoas, chili coral ,squamosa,1 to 5mm oysters clams mussels, sponges tunicates and stuff. Probably a good test subject.
I think its going to be fine though, Ive just never dosed something like this. Ive been lucky so far.

Has anyone talked about using this for zoa fungus?
