Hi,

im freaking out with our skimmer soon.. we have it run for 1 1/2 months now and its still overflowing. its at 8 inches hight and we did twice a vinegar bath. I tried using it just with mit hand to see when its stops overflowing, it won't stop..

any suggestions we can try please?! Thanks in advance

I'm not familiar with this skimmer, just looked it up.

Does it have a way to release more water from the body? That or can you lower the water level in your sump?

yes its on "max" which is the lowest setting for this skimmer and the water level is the lowest. but like I said even when I raised it up with my hand it doesn't stop.

Something is making the bubbles start to low. They should start above the bubble plate that rests on top of the pump.

Did you twist the Venturi (thing the attaches to pump that the air hose connects to) until it’s snug with the pump? You have to twist it back and forth. The bubbles are escaping through that it seems.

the foam is from the skimmer ..

Turn your skimmer off. Twist this thing back and forth until it’s super snug with the pump.

I use this brand for my skimmer. The vinegar bath will basically reset the break-in process. The plastic cover over the pump needs to be situated properly. The half circle holes should be opposite the pump output. One more thing you should check. The Venturi port that @Hemmdog circled needs to be checked. When I first used my skimmer, there was a blockage in the port and my skimmer was doing the same thing. You should not see bubbles that low in the skimmer. Make sure that the hole connected to the tubing is not blocked.
