I have the Tunze Osmolator ATOI know from previous experience that I'm not a fan of the little motor machines with beepy sensors.
Oh okay, I'll add that to my research list thank you! The beeping drives me insane!!!! I have a pretty good system set up now, refill ato's every Sunday so I don't run dry. But the beeping as it transfers even is enough to kill meI have the Tunze Osmolator ATO
and it has the ability to shut off the alarms so not beeping just a red light if there is an issue. I love it and have it on both my tanks. I’m not a fan of the Smart ATO though. I have it on a qt tank and it is always beeping.
What are you using now that beeps as it transfers the water?Oh okay, I'll add that to my research list thank you! The beeping drives me insane!!!! I have a pretty good system set up now, refill ato's every Sunday so I don't run dry. But the beeping as it transfers even is enough to kill me
Nothing currently - my old Cade1200 and current Cade600 have the chamber in the upper back and gravity fill. My pico had *something* but I don't remember what brand I was using. It beeped to let me know it was filling, and then beeped when done, then beeped like frickin crazy when there was an error.Wh

Ah, got it. You would like the Tunze I think. It also has built in safety features so not to keep dumping in water and flooding.Nothing currently - my old Cade1200 and current Cade600 have the chamber in the upper back and gravity fill. Probably the xO Aquatics or something like that. That's what mine does.Nothing currently - my old Cade1200 and current Cade600 have the chamber in the upper back and gravity fill. I have all alarms shut off so it never beepstunze only beeps if it over fills
I had an issue with the beeping as well!I have the Tunze Osmolator ATO

saving for future infoI had an issue with the beeping as well!
I read it beeps when it thinks it runs the pumps too long.
What I did to fix it was reset it when the ATO needed to run for awhile. When it runs the first time after a reset, it records how long it runs the pump for. if, on subsequent runs, it runs the pump for a little longer, it thinks something is wrong and starts beeping.
So, just reset yours when you need a big fill and it'll stop the unnecessary beeping; and give you piece of mind that it wont flood your house if its sensor malfunctions.
What brand is it?I installed my first ATO last night and it over filled. Now I'm a sad bear. Definitely looking into other options already.
I think that is for the Smart ATO not the Tunze.I had an issue with the beeping as well!

XP aqua duetto. So far not a fan. What brand is it?
Over the 15 years I’ve been in the hobby I have tried a few different ones and IMO, Tunze is the most reliable with the best safety features. It’s the only one I will buy now.XP aqua duetto. So far not a fan.
Anything that allows me to have silence, and potentially screw things up myself instead is a win in my book.I have all alarms shut off so it never beeps
Yeah I plan to look this up this weekend and keep an eye out in case there's any kind of Black Friday deals.Over the 15 years I’ve been in the hobby I have tried a few different ones and IMO, Tunze is the most reliable with the best safety features. It’s the only one I will buy now.
THIS is the one I had at one point in time. I had another one somewhere along the road as well. This one the sensors got all ****y all the time and I always had snails interferingXP aqua duetto. So far not a fan.
