Cade Chaos Grimoire

Well I'm taking a chance here. Got a rooted single leaf of a variegated Rhaphidophora tetrasperma, and a pink princess philodendron too. Small but pretty.
The Pink Princess like light.

We've gotten all of ours from locals. We only have Swiss Cheese and the normal Monstera variety. Our large Monstera recently has been getting Scale Bugs.
Dr bronners peppermint castille soap & water in a mister daily

And don't be discouraged if it's not super pink to start. My white wizard didn't start putting out really nice leaves for awhile. They're very similar in growth/production/care

I will take some when I get back in from taking this monster out back

Some of my plant chaos. Tomorrow is plant day, once a month I go through and prune, tidy up, let them buttchug, etc. Otherwise most of them get misted daily and watered weekly or biweekly.

There's 4 types of monstera in here.

I would like to remove some of the plants in my fw and replace them with above water plants. Ones I can just put the roots in the water. I have one that has been doing well for 2 yrs and wondered if there are any others you know of. Yes I could google I guess.

If you're looking for someone who can root in the water and grows bigger above water, pothos! Peace lily if you have the space.

Duck weed is a great floater that stays smaller. Water lettuce as well.

Honestly, a lot of plants will grow rooted in just water just fine after an adjustment period. I've seen people do calathea, anthurium, etc. You'll usually see it struggle and look almost dead initially, then bounce back.

I also need to start planning my lid for the peninsula.... Decided I'm going with Clear View, but not sure cutouts or anything like that specifically yet. Will definitely need that in place before the tank is cycled and the wrasse move over. I mean, I can use the one that came with, but big eww

Found this site. May look for some of these locally thank you!

This week was rough.

Yesterday especially.

I bought myself plants in the morning before things went sideways but after yesterday maybe I deserve to buy myself corals as well....
