Cade Chaos Grimoire

OK, so that area is actually open and you plopped the tank/stand in the open slot?
Yep, he designed the bar around the general tank size we were looking at w/ a cabinet at the back for me to store my tank garbage in. We could have it a bit longer without any Issues as well. Idk that I'd want to mess with width too much, I do like that extra space for aquascaping - even though I hate aquascaping.

OK. With that tank size, I think you may be able to get away with a custom tank and sump for quite a bit cheaper than the cade. I say this just looking off of Glass Cages base pricing and knowing about what the option add to that. You would need to get a quote from them for an exact number and then decide on what options you wanted.

If it was me, I would do an overflow like Brendon's, hide that in some panels to match the cabinets and then you would have 100% open space in the tank. From there, either a DIY 40B sump or a custom sump could be used. If you went DIY, I can throw those together with kits or do custom for little to nothing. (if you cannot tell, I am willing to help ya out with things lol)

I would say get exact measurements for what will fit in that spot to make it seamless with the bar and such and then go from there. Doing a 60x30x24 or a 64x30x24 is not too much of a price difference for example. It is when you get to larger tanks that those extra inches start adding tons of cost.

Once you get the dimensions down, hit up Glass Cages for a quote with the options you want. Joe will take care of you and adding sumps to the builds is also easy to do. Just got to figure out what space you will have under the stand, so you can do a sump with an ATO built in (love it when they are done like that). Plus, being right by the sink, RODI becomes a breeze, as does filling the ATO.

Okay, I'll put him to work figuring out if he wants more space in the bar before I hit up Joe for quoting. I love the back overflow/ato set up I have with the current cade, it's not an option on their peninsulas - they do the sump ato instead.

Ok, so 3 sides low iron and then one side normal. Still saves a bit of cost.

Do you have the dimensions of what will fit, tank wise?

As for pricing, it may not be as bad as you think. You can also then have the option of doing an overflow like @Lost in the Sauce and this will give you more in tank room.

As for the plumbing, I am in FL all the time, so maybe we could time it to where I can drive over and just do it for ya. I have done it so many times, wouldn't take but a few hours lol.
I drive to jacksonville alot to visit my dad, I could always bring all my tools....

I'll be in Brooksville at the time this is all said and done, that's a good 3 hr extra drive

But it sounds like we could make a BBQ out of this

ATO in sump section works great as well. I build ATO systems that are simple, have redundancy and work great for low lift application like those. It is what I have used on all of my tanks for quite a few years now.

Once you get used to it, I think you will like the ATO under the sump and connected via a valve to your RODI.

3 hours is nothing.. I drive 31from here to Jacksonville and on way home I pit stop at WWC...

14 hours here. And I could pick up in person my TBS order instead of paying shipping.

how do you feel about brisket?
Love brisket, anyone who doesn't love brisket cannot be my friend.

WWC main big place is in Orlando..I spent like 3 plus hours there last year and brought back some cool stuff. They gave me a complete tour and answered all my questions. They knew I was driving there..
