I have a aqua auto from Amazon for over a year now and it’s worked flawless since day one… I even run heavy kalk in my top off and it just keeps going lol.. I have a brand new tunzee sitting in a box in garage cause I was gonna upgrade but never seen a reason too…
same. my autoAqua has had zero mechanical issues.

Yes! Has 3 fall back safety features.
Redundant security: the main sensor is a proprietary optic sensor. In case of occuring problems, a safety float switch shuts the unit off and sounds an alarm. Even if that fails, safety circuitry shuts off the pump
after 10 minutes.

And it’s on sale!!

Weird ask, anyone have compression glove recommendations? That don't go over the entire fingertip but do cover all knuckles?

I've returned 2 styles now... #3 comes tomorrow to try

Guess who's the proud new owner of a spot clean car detailing thingy....

This guy.

Because my driver seat is covered in blood, plasma, and tattoo ink.

Oops.

The wrap around my leg may or may not have leaked in my nearly 2 hr drive home due to crazy traffic accidents.

soon. you could start shopping at least in the meantime for gear?
Yes, but.... I still have my lights - I do want to supplement them but I'm not sure if I want to go t5, add the RB lumenbars, or wait and upgrade to their new meridian line. Staying close to the size of the tank I downsized from. Contemplated going much bigger BUT - it was kind of a perfect size for me.

I still have my skimmer. My powerheads are still good and waiting in storage.

I do need to sort out a filter roller and a new ats since the one I had/have is kinda a little undersized for that tank size anyway. It's going to stay in the cube for the ponies instead.

I might want a gyre. Not sure yet.

We fell in love with a couch that honestly makes the initial peninsula idea feel pretty tight in that area so now we're rethinking peninsula jutting out or standard against the wall. If we do a standard style still I may go back to cade and not have to play the ato battle or worry about having to buy something for that purpose so I'm holding off on that part now.

Any option for a built in? That may be fun?

Plant spam. Lost a few leaves here and there with the transition to the greenhouse, but lots of new growth so I'm not too worried about it.

So, we went to the house today with some measuring tape and masking tape.

We've decided to scrap the peninsula idea... the walkway will be fine, so long as we're not trying to bring anything in through there - and then it'll be a problem. Plus we'd rather it be more open compared to where we were previously.

Back to the standard tank style, which pretty much cements me sticking with CADE because I absolutely love the ato setup they have.

Now it's --- 4ft tank and be able to definitely keep the equipment I already have in storage - OR upgrade from before to a 5ft tank but have to start over with a lot :thinking-face:

I don't intend to play the tang game again so I guess the extra foot of space won't really be critical in terms of that. I'm currently leaning with going w/ the 4ft'r again for simplicity sake with everything else.

Simple is good. Setting up what you are already comfortable and familiar with reduces the stress. Your gonna have enough of that. And the fact that you can use what you already have saves $$$. Then when and if you ever get the itch to upgrade you can. Just leave that extra bit of space when you set it up just in case you need it.

I would definitely lean towards reusing any equipment, I'm always looking to save and reuse if I can.

Yeah, the longer the day progresses, the more confident I feel about that choice

I'm so glad they're all doing well, always nervous when I get newbies
I haven't updated my terrarium plant pics. I gotta figure out what to do with the solanum vine. It grew to the top and now is sorta melting.

Begonias and moss are crushing it.

I'll have to post pics here later. Hehe

Feelin good about sticking w/ the 4ft standard instead of peninsula to be honest. Gonna keep my RB lights and either add a lumen bar for additional lighting or a t5. Just gotta make a decision on that.
