I lied, I still need to figure out ato....

Talk to me about the osmolator options, 3 vs 3155? @MrsBugmaster didn't you say you use one of them? Or was it a different member of the #Cronies crew?

I use the 3155 it's been flawless since I set it up.

Yes I have both versions. The newer 3 version has no separate controller so you don’t have to worry about where to mount yet another controller. That being said, you have no controller to quickly glance at to make sure everything is ok. The new one has the controller built into the sensors. So you have to look at the sensor itself in the sump to make sure everything is running as should be. Depending on where in the sump it is located could be more of an issue to see vs just looking at the separate controller.
Green light =all is normal
Blue light =it is adding water
Red light = problem, water level too high

See the green light in photo

Location in the back of my sump by return pump. (Circled in red) not the easiest to see. Although it may not be as easy to see, rarely do I ever have a problem with it!! And I look at my sump water level at a glance and that tells me if there is a problem.

The 3 has a quieter and more powerful pump. And it has better water proof connections vs bare wire connections in 3155. However you can buy the newer quieter pump and use it on the 3155 model. Added expense though.
Model 3 has a 5 year warranty, not sure on the 3155 model.

IMO you can’t go wrong with either one.
I’m sending you a video in pm cause not sure it’s allowed to post it here.

I have the Wonice Smart ATO Lite.

I like it - and no alarms, just light blinking and color changes to tell when levels are high or low.
I'll look that up too

Week one. We went from an empty building to the entire store being fixtured and priced.

3 full back to back trucks incoming in week two.

I have some minor tank stuff to do today, maybe progress on light bars? not sure... we're trying to get some garage stuff done as well so idk if we will be able to knock out both....

Going to assemble a bunch of moss poles.

Yes on moss poles. I was at Walmart yesterday and they had a big monstera on clearance, she only had a couple damaged leaves. Took her home. She'll need a moss pole soon. Is plastic the preferred building material?

I've 3d printed smaller ones with success but this time I'm using clear plastic placemats cut in half & mesh stuff.

So back half the solid plastic and the front half the fencing plastic? Zippied together. I'm assuming that would keep it wetter longer if it weren't a full meshy situation, right?

Do you make them so you can add on to it or do you replace it when it's outgrown the height?

This will be my first plant needing one, so I've got zero clues. I've done a lot of research on it but everyone does it differently and some definitely seem to work better than others.

I did, however, learn from my last plants that newcomers will get a shower before meeting the rest of the family. Didn't want anymore pests squeaking in.

Yes, I need to trim the zip ties still, but here's the first before trimming and filling. The extra plastic in the bottom will slide into the pot and hopefully help prevent tipping.

I'll be going back to the walls of worlds today so hopefully I can find some supplies.

She's a little beat up but definitely savable.
