I lied, I still need to figure out ato....
Talk to me about the osmolator options, 3 vs 3155?
@MrsBugmaster didn't you say you use one of them? Or was it a different member of the
#Cronies crew?
Yes I have both versions. The newer 3 version has no separate controller so you don’t have to worry about where to mount yet another controller. That being said, you have no controller to quickly glance at to make sure everything is ok. The new one has the controller built into the sensors. So you have to look at the sensor itself in the sump to make sure everything is running as should be. Depending on where in the sump it is located could be more of an issue to see vs just looking at the separate controller.
Green light =all is normal
Blue light =it is adding water
Red light = problem, water level too high
See the green light in photo
Location in the back of my sump by return pump. (Circled in red) not the easiest to see. Although it may not be as easy to see, rarely do I ever have a problem with it!! And I look at my sump water level at a glance and that tells me if there is a problem.
The 3 has a quieter and more powerful pump. And it has better water proof connections vs bare wire connections in 3155. However you can buy the newer quieter pump and use it on the 3155 model. Added expense though.
Model 3 has a 5 year warranty, not sure on the 3155 model.
IMO you can’t go wrong with either one.
I’m sending you a video in pm cause not sure it’s allowed to post it here.
