Cadlights Versa 42 Gallon

My SPS is finally starting to grow. This is 6 weeks on a small frag of Tyree Pink Lemonade. They say this is a pretty slow grower. But I'm happy with the progress. Sorry for the crappy second pic. I took another one without be lights on

Installed and am loving my LED bar from SB Reef Lights. Makes corals pop. Not sure about growth. But they look good

Not really much to update at the moment, I'm about to do a serious overhaul. I will be moving the tank downstairs and plumbing into a 50 gallon frag tank. So i will hopefully have a good update here in the next few weeks.

So i decided not to move the Cadlights downstairs after all. My wife wanted it out of there until i actually went to move it. Then she says "Well, it's part of our kitchen now" haha.

Anyways the good new is that i was still able to set up a frag tank in the basement and am currently looking for a 90-120 to plumb together with it. Here are some pics of the new frag tank. (Still Cycling) should be too much of a cycle because i've used a lot of rock and Xport cubes from established tanks.

Here's what i went with.
-50 gallon shallow frag tank (bought used already drilled) i have plans to upgrade the drain. it's a little loud.
-Elite Aquatics 40" Sump
-AquaMaxx S Cone Q-2 Skimmer. Love this thing!!
-Jebao DCT 8000 Return pump. Way to much power even at lowest setting. But will be great once i get the other tank hooked to it.
-ATI 6 bulb 36" non dimmable T5 fixture

Thank you! I appreciate it. Things have been taking off since i made a few minor changes. I should actually post some growth pics there are some corals that i literally see growth on a daily basis.

WD from Nov 23rd to March 23rd (4 months) not sure if that's good growth rate or not. But I like it. [emoji3]

Lot's of little tweeks like turning my skimmer off for an hour after feeding. Doing smaller water changes but more often and the biggest difference was dosing KZ phol's Xtra Special. i dose 2 ml a day of that stuff. My goal was to just get better color out of my SPS but the growth has been great to.

It seem like the little thing make a big difference in our tanks. I just changed my light setting to less white and my color is comment back. Again, really impressive growth.

I love your tank! Pretty much sold me on the cadlights since I can get one right now for a steal. How do you feel the quality is since yours has been set up for awhile now?
