Hello All
First off this isn’t a joke question lol... recently I’ve had my tank devastated by velvet, (details are on my thread) I now have a hugely reduced fish load and will be going fallow in the next week or so. I have a mature tank which was home to 24 fish and hence had a well established bacteria system, I don’t want to lose this during this period, hence the question, I have seeded my tanks and koi ponds with urine to feed bacteria during the cycle phase, but never to maintain the bacteria bed, I could use food but I actually think urine may be a better way? Any thoughts?? #Lasse was discussing this recently but I cannot find the thread.,
