Cheesus' 55 gallon build

My tank is all cycled and ready to go, however I've scrapped the double ten gallon deal, and gone with a simple ready-made sump, I've added a six line.

six lines are a terrible choice for a first fish...just saying
I'm going to hope I get lucky with this one, I know they're super territorial, but I figure because I'm only going to be getting fish it's same size or bigger later on that it won't be too aggressive.

So I've begun working on my sump, and the first step is to acquire a good pump... I have no idea how to calculate the gph I need for a 55, can anyone help?

The easy rule of thumb for a return pump is ten times the DT volume. So 55x10=550 gph or around that area, my tank is 110 gallons and my return is over 1200 gph.

What do ya'll think about this pump then: 620 GPH Submersible Fountain Pumplso I'll be posting my new and improved sump design later tonight

alright here goes, first is just the design for the sump and display

Second we've got the layout of the sump itself, I have added diy pvc overflow as backups, they will not be regularily used, and will be placed just above the maximum waterline, if in the unfortunate scenario of a power outage occurs, the water in the final chamber will get put into the pvc pipes.
