Chevron tang acclimation

There's nori in the tank now but he's showing now interest. I have it right in front of the cave he's hiding in. And I can't get am good pic because he's in a dark cave and very hard to see. I'll try and get one tomorrow or later tonight though if he decides to come out. Also should I leave the nori in over night and the the kessil light on about 2% all blue
Don't leave nori overnight remove it so it doesn't foul the water. Live blackworms and live brine can entice a remotely healthy fish to eat as well.

I have some mysis... would that work?
Worth a try!
I love mine!

Like really garlic? I don't have any of the fish garlic just mysis and nori

I fed mysis to my clowns and put a bit in the back area where he's hiding and it looks to me like he ate a bit which is great! And I also was able to get a little better of a look at his fin but still not great... could it be possible that a piece got torn off or chipped when I put him in? Or when he was being caught in the original owners tank. I had a hard time seeing any white but it defiantly looked like he was missing a very small sliver of fin

Hi everyone he's now starting to come out a little bit and is grazing on the inner rocks a lot! I did notice that his lips are bleached though... I can't tell if he has any sores because he keeps hiding but I can clearly see his lips are a pale white. What could this be and what should I do?

@Humblefish

Also want to add its only on the tips of his lips and the few times I've seen him swim out I can see him open and close his mouth like he's breathing

And he doesn't seem to be breathing heavy at all and is eating the brown algae off the back of the tank glass

Do his lips look anything like this (you have to look closely)?
