Cloudy water

Should be smooth sailing then. The gramma is prob gonna be easy, should be easy to feed.. you may see somme territory stuff, but youll just maybe need to add a pie for her?him.
Im not a wresse guy. Not sure if you read up in the wrasse thread. THAT GUY, knows wrasses.

Well, fish came in amd let me tell you it was one interesting time to get them. I have a divided leopard wrasse and a royal gramma. My closet fed ex place is an hour and a half away so went to get the fish. On way back about an hour from home, my idler pulley ceased up and stripped the belt. So there was a hold up...got them home, decided that they have been in the water too much...decided to just introduce them to qt...it was a last ditch effort to ensure the fish were in good water....they were at shock at first but are swimming around. I put a small Tupperware container in with sand for the wrasse....she was swimming sporadically in the bag off the bat and continued to do so....now just a waiting game...I hope they make it...

I had one of those leopard wrasse's years ago.
It was a trip :)
As soon as lights out hit, it would bury itself in the sand bed until lights on the next day.

I hope the sand I have isn't to course for it though
I'm sure it will be fine. I don't know if all of them bury like that one.

If you see a small dust bowl going on at about lights out time it's just bedding in for the night.

During the day it had a great and confident personality :)

For now... Follow saltyfilmfolks lead and keep it dim for them.

Ok, both made it through the night but I'm a little worried about the wrasse. She is swimming on the bottom of the tank with her nose touching the bottom of the tank....like she can't swim upright

Remind me... is she in QT or the display? Can you post a picture or video -preferably without blues?

She seems to be breathing fast

OK. She looks stressed but no obvious signs of parasites or disease. I"m sorry I know we probably already talked about all of this but you'll have to run it for me again. What have you treated her with so far?

I haven't treated anything yet. She arrived just yesterday and in qt for observation. She is running into objects, seems like she has a hard time keeping upright and seems like she is blind.

Ohhh. I'm glad I didn't forget all of it that quickly. How did you acclimate?

In the bag that she came in she was upside down and swimming in circles. So I got her out of that water asap and got her into new right away....left her sit in a bag in a friend's tank at the time to keep the temp, she up righted herself in the bag and seemed better...but now she has to lean on something to stay upright unless swimming
