CORAL IS WORTH MORE THAN GOLD

Yea i recently moved my godzilla and left a booger behind. I was surprised how fast it grew little tips!
For sure man. From the reports Godzilla shroom is a great producer. Mines pretty much trippled in size since I got it and finally found a little booger behind her last week or so. Foot moves alot on her so im sure plenty more to come. Overall awesome shroom. Wish they were all that easy haha

I guess the way we think it's different due to the size of our countries.

Portugal has 11Million People, the percentage of reefers must be way lower than 1%, I see a lot of tanks with the same corals and all LFS and Facebook Groups it's allways with the same people

So If i Sell my mushies for a low price the next 10 guys will even sell it lower and propagate them.

It's a whole different story in the US for what I can see here!

A diamond ring has no use other than looking good, but folks spend thousands on them.

Is a coral different?
I say yes its different to me as I tend to develop bonds and care about my corals:D I guess I really could say the same about my wife and her "shiny" things hahaha

Tottally my point! I stock my tank with two critteria corals that I love and that can make a penny back

But at least in my country I've seen a strange outcome, if u get a coral that's pricy like an OG Bounce you will only sell it if it is for a great bargain.
I've imported a bounce Magic Sphere from germany wich I think it's the only in Portugal, It reproduced and I'm not able to sell it for 2 reasons: Some LFS say it's not that good (Wich is a local thing, only the **** you sell is good) and other people don't want to spend a penny unless its a bargain or a really hot coral in the moment.

But I see that my country is a ****** market because it's so small and we don't have a great Buyer Power...
Which one is bounce magic sphere?

I happen to think bounces are pretty neat looking. Not for the prices they're asking, but if I bought a bounce it would just be to look at and maybe frag someday.

Very nice! Curious what a real collector would pay for that piece in your neck of the woods. I guess what your asking price is?

And we need to keep in mind that the big bubbles of the 2nd picture come after long exposure o blues, the 2 that I have look more like the 1st pic

I don't mind talking about prices but keep in mind that we all see different value in things and corals alike. I earn honest hardworking money so my choices :D

I paid 500€ for a big one, I got to choose it from the vendor via Whats'up videos.

I'm asking 400€ for a private reefer and proposed it to some LFS for 350€ due to good relationships.

Beautiful piece and definitely right in line with similar collector bouncing shrooms in the states.

Thank you my friend! I would sell it to you if it wasn't a pain in the butt to sell corals to the US ehehe

Actually I would love to import some from the US but it is really a nightmare

BTW I checked your Build Thread you have amazing pieces as well!

Thats more of an apples to apples comparison as diamonds were never used as money and are "intrinsically worthless" according to debeers themselves lol.

More shiney, and better angles on the cut = more $$$$$.
