Coralline no show

I believe @Hans-Werner . He's recommending at least 0.1. I think mine was higher than 1.0 after the chaeto die-off: it was a probably about the size of a basketball.

The wait is over. Coralline is popping up all over the place. Oddly enough, not on the glass or towers, just on the rock. Also, some pink, some purple, and a lot of the dark red variety. I'd never had much red, yellow or green calcareous algae before.

My coralline only grows where my lights shine. LED lights are very focused. If you use LED only, then I wouldn't expect any coralline on any walls of your tank or on parts of rock that aren't well lit.

I don't actually know. I can tell you my alk is 8.6 and I have a very healthy growth of coralline.

I’ve ran tanks at 12 dkh and had tons of corraline.

Kalkwasser or Kent marine coraline algae booster can really make it take off in my experience (does cause higher alk and cal and ph)
