Anybody already running this and if so what's your first impression about the unit?

Filled my tank & sump (~55g total) in ~4hrs. It may have been more than 4, but it definitely wan't that much more.
That booster pump is dead silent and it kept me at 125psi.nit ran at 125psi. (my old RO was ~45psi without a pump). I'm not sure what the waste ratio was but I kind wish I'd checked. Incoming TDS was 245, out of membrane it was 7-8 (bounced between the two) and out of DI was 0. I added a 2nd DI chamber because of high silica, with Spectrapure's Silicabuster resin in both DI chambers.
So far I'm a happy camper.

I just installed mine today, awesome filter and easy to set up.
I had a 4 year old Buckeye 5 stage and never had a problem but really never wanted to upgrade DIY with booster pumps and extra flush filters.
This Smart RO/DI is a no brainer, straight out of the box al you need to have perfect 0.0 TDS water all the time.
It warns you if you need to replace a filter, it flushes automatically, and you can set a time to have it turned on for how ever long you want it to run.
The monitor tells you all you need to know in just second.
Just like to see how long my filter lasting with just a 4 stage, I can always add a extra canister for carbon.

Does all the resin have to fit In The canister or will there be left over?
Also my controller came cracked on top out the box it looks like it was banged somewhere because you can see the screws holding the bracket are moved from original spot. What should I do?

Oh Man that always sucks if something in transit get banged, I'm sure they'll send you a new controller, just file a CS ticket.
On the resin; it should fit but you have to pack it real good, a trick that I used for as long there's resin is use a beer bottle to compact the resin slowly.
It should fit snug in the canister, of course drink the beer first or when done after.
If you still have a little left over no worries, that little bit won't make a difference on your overall results.
Earlier this week I went to work knowing that my topoff container was 1/2 full. When I came home from work one day I found that we'd had a brief power outage, and then I saw that my topoff container was now magically full. After playing around a bit with the Smart RODI and confirming with Coralvue, it turns out that regardless of the timer/manual state that you leave this unit in (running or not), turned on or off...... if power is cut & restored to the unit, it will automatically power on & start making water in manual mode.
If you have & trust your float valve, this isn't a big deal. I've had a float valve fail, so I'll be keeping my Smart unplugged when not in use.

As I said, it could have been more, but it was less than 5. My topoff container is just under 30 and it did that in 2 hours and some change. Very impressive!
