Current Nano Setup

Anyone have a guess to when the tank could start to come around? I’ve never had a half-nuked tank. The Sps still have about half their color. LPS are closed tight. Mushrooms are pretty shriveled. Zooas are doing fine. My toadstool looks something awful and is shedding brown goo

The sad state of the tank in pics. Mostly worried about the frogspawn. It’s shedding it’s polyps

My skimmer hasn’t been making skim since the meltdown. I ran it through a vinegar bath last night. Hoping it will start cleaning the water. The tank is getting worse everyday. I am doing water changes everyday. The coral is either going white or browning. The LPS is shedding its polyps fast. My toadstool keeps shedding brown goo. Month cap is browning badly cabbage leather has shrunk and is also sliming only coral that is ok is a large zoa colony. Everyone I know will ask my parameters, but they are perfect. I have good testing equipment (salifert) and have 0 tds water out of my rodi. I have been doing everything textbook. I baffled most by the skimmer not working. Without the skimmer, I can’t export the to toxins and die-off of the corals to give them a chance to improve. My water circulation is high. I am also trying to prevent the browning to spread and all of sudden if cyano. It’s just a mess and I’m so frustrated. All this because a temp controller failed. I wrote a strongly worded letter to JBJ. The JBJ true temp controller caused this whole problem. I am of course wishing I had an apex, but that could fail as well, so idk

Added some carbon in addition to just the chemipure blue to absorb as much junk as possible and clear the water up. Starting to get some skim now as well

Update: my 22 head frogspawn has 9 heads that still have polyps. Of that, it looks like 1-4 have a chance of recovery. Stag coral is bleached at tips, but the rest still has some green. Monty plate is browning, but hoping it might turn around

The new gladiator clown is doing great

The frogspawn was only two heads when I got it. Sad to see it go like this

You can see what is recovering and what is going down hill

I think there is still hope

Tank is still going downhill. My birds nest is covered in brown slime and is almost pure white. Monty plate might pull through. Actor looks like it’s not getting worse. Half of my mushrooms have disappeared. And my 22 head of frogspawn is down to 5 tiny heads

All this from a heater malfunction.

Tank is slowly recovering. List 3/4 of for frogspawn, but what survived is fine. Monty plate I think will bounce back. Pink birds nest is still rough looking. I will take some pics later and post recovery pics. I just fed the tank and it’s cloudy
