All am saying if there is going to be a comment on a post thats going to talk of how much has to cost what ever coral. Its just better not posting cause it will ruin the other party benefit or coming goods from the sale

This is exactly what we are trying to do. You call it benefiting from the sale and we call it taking advantage of someone.

And these type of arguments are not healthy for this forum today could be an outsider tomarrow could be Jason, Tyree, Nanofins, or somebody else

Or will just be broke and posting a "getting out" for sale thread.

I will post a picture of my frag today it's really awesome. but i can care less what people think im not trying to promote it i was just trying to brag what i bought and this thread someone turned into a reefer on reefer crime. but its all good I have been a lurker on r2r and reef central Im from greater norcal bay and is on norcalreefclub.com its a small close community of reefers. anyway the point is Im not trying to "self promote" i was trying to put it out there that somone discovered something like the purple hornet and it amazes me. im sure if u were in the zoa collectiong hobby for a long time you will come across something the same or exactly the same but as for me no so i bought it end of story now lets talk about how awesome it looks f#@k the price i trade anyways =] Happy Reefing!

Noob, it wasn't really reefer on reefer. We were mostly ragging on the people selling it. The fact that you liked it and bought it was not what we were getting at. If the sales link had not been posted, and the price not mentioned, it probably would have gotten a different reception. I can believe you weren't just out "pushing".

Not really fair to say we don't care what people think, I think. I mean, the whole reason we post and share is because we care and want to relate to others through our enjoyment of the hobby. So, I'm looking forward to seeing a pic of your frag.

Paul he never said nothing of the price look at his first post he was just alerting us of a zoa just to let us know what do we think

and then he just comment since a guy offer 2 polyps of Ph for one of the devils the owner put a tag price

I dont think calling advantage from a seller is apropiate nobody is putting you a bullet to buy it. you get it if you could afford it
That will mean just to pick some names Tyree, Ora, Jason, and others take advantage of US

They just put a tag price if a fish goes in the net its there catch if not they have lower the prices

Thats all is in to it

Iam happy that Nanofin has seen this a better way now everybody looks happy

I think Paul's point is different. The stuff Jason is selling is not really readily available from another source, at least to the knowledge of us, and at least some are in the know. Tyree's stuff is sometimes available from other sources, though often not in great quantity initially. ORA, well, is ORA. Everyone can get it, and most could afford if if they felt like it. The point is that we CAN afford this particular morph, but haven't, even though we've seen it around for cheaper. Now someone else is charging like 15 times more than needed and some unfortunate "fish" might get caught.

Fact is, those "deepwater" morphs are/were being imported pretty regularly, and any store can buy a pack of them for a MAX cost of about $40 per rock, and most rocks have 20-40 polyps on them at least. I manage an lfs and we were getting regular offers when the deepwaters hit the market where we could buy 20+ of those rocks for about $24 each. It was an assortment, of course, and you can't pick out all the nice ones, but it's not as if you need to lean on that one nice one to pay for the whole shipment. Thing is, I didn't order many of them, because nice as some of them are, I knew local folks wouldn't pay $5+/polyp, so it wasn't worth it.

Yeah I second that and my intentions are not to tick anybody off but when I first saw the post
I just saw his intention to let us know of something new for him and for me since i havent seen this zoa around to bad the price is way up

I want to shop for some nice zoas but i like the ones that call my attention and not more of the nameeven do the nice ones have pretty name on them.

If you guys got anything around send me a pm with price and pics specially Nanofins i hear you good some hotties

Ill be waiting also for next year and try to make it to MACNA 2010 with some big cash hope to meet some of you guys
For the moment ill just save some money for pampers waiting for a new baby on Dicember

No I am pretty poor myself im a college student. im barely 20 and into the freakni reefing hobby im poor as hell but dang i love reefing. I have such a nice passion for Aquarist I own Two SW tanks and TWo Planted. The Devils Aura i bought because it was rare and the LFS store said that it was the last frag that he had and he was selling it,it was too much of a good deal to let go.
