thanks for sharing and with some awesome set up progress shots.

is the purple tang the last fish to be added? you might want to hold off as they can be pretty aggressive typically and with limited space might be troublesome ultimately. some would say even one tang (acanthurus/zebrasoma/naso) would be too many no matter when added. typically folks will go with the more timid escalating to the more moderate but ultimately you know the tank and your inhabitants best and I'm sure you've thought it through. regardless qt and an acclimation box will go a long way. keep us updated and hope stocking goes safely and successfully!

So i was going to add the purple after the yellow eye kole I wanted to get today.
I found a BEAUTY of a kole tang. I'm amazed these guys only go for $35. That's a freakin steal, IMO.
So i brought him home and my Powder Brown was pretty ticked off. Guess he thought he was going to have the run of the tank forever.

But they seem to be working it out now. Phew!
Anyway, now that I have the two of them in there, i'm thinking I need more smaller fish to balance it out. Maybe some anthias or something.
So Project Purple Tang is put on hold.

I love my anthias I have one almost full blown male now turning more purple red now but he is very aggressive toward his counterparts. but he's so pretty I can manage him for now as long as he don't start killing off others. Which he may.

Yeah, the only problem I have with Anthias is I can't feed more than once per day so I would need to find some that can do ok with that kind of feeding schedule.

Mine do fine with once/day feeding. I even have skipped a day of feeding and they are fine but I try not to specifically for them

Doser channels are full and I don't know of any liquid food that wouldn't need to be kept chilled.

Well I have 11 channels now of GHL dosers. [emoji3] going to put a small fridge by the dosers to add food and amino to the system.

I will just cut holes in the walls yesterday to start the control room build. I have a lot of videos to shoot on just setting this all up. This is a three year build time frame. Wife will not let me get the bigger tank till I retire so I am slowly aquiring the equipment and building the system one step at a time.
