Coral addition! Today's coral to be added came from the Joe Knows Reefs live sale. It is the Inferno Lepto.

Here's my receipt from the live sale. Coral budget is $54.75 so far.

Here's a phone pic that is over saturated with blue, but it does show how this baby glows!

...and if I pull the blue saturation out...

BOOM!

...Okay...so my phone camera sucks, but this thing still looks sick! :wink:

Tonight's coral is a mummy eye chalice I picked up from Mr.Coral for $14.50. Here's the receipt:

Since he's a R2R sponsor, this get's rated at $7.25 bringing my coral total to $62.00. :bigsmile:

Thanks, Andy! Did you notice the raptor's peace favia? That's the one I got from you before moving to Ohio. It has grown quite a bit since then (as have the other frags I got from you. They are all doing quite well!)!

For the sake of this competition, the rules state in the first post of the https://www.reef2reef.com/forums/nano-90-build-off-competition/115368-nano-90-2013-a.html thread that all coral bought from R2R sponsors is only valued at 50%. This let's us get some really sweet pieces without blowing through our coral budget!!

CORAL TIME!! Today's addition is a Dragon Soul favia from Aqua SD.

Here's the receipt. This puts me at $67.00 so far.

Here is this new guy in the tank.

Here is a pic of the dragon soul with the sunny d and mummy eye...this tank is starting to light up.

Hey guys! Sorry for the lack of updates. I have been doing some re-aquascaping in the nano (adding a few shelf pieces and repositioning some stuff) which has the tank all stirred up and everything a little hacked off. I think I'll be able to post an update this evening though.

Ok. Getting ready to update with the new coral of the evening. First, I need to give a super thanks to Mike at Sexy Corals who hooked me up with the next 9 pieces that will be presented. I told Mike I was working on my "glowing nano" and he promised that he'd send me a box that would work with my budget and that would be everything I was hoping for the reef...he absolutely didn't disappoint!!

Here is the paypal receipt for the cash sent over (it includes shipping, but since that isn't separate on the receipt, I'll just count the whole thing towards budget). 50% of $330 is $165 which brings us to a total of $244.50

I got 9 awesome pieces from Mike, so those will be appearing in updates over the next 9 days. :wink:

Here is a pretty crappy unboxing video that I took (I tried to edit out the dead spots...which I think made it even worse... LOL) ...it confirms the number of corals, but you won't see any of them out of the bag in this video.
