I know! It's killing me that I can't jump into this yet!! I'll be home for a few days over the weekend though, and I should be able to get some stuff done then.

Looking good!

FINALLY getting started...

It's got a red plastic lid. Let me know if you can't see it for some reason.

I'm still debating on whether to go with my MJ1200 as the return or just keep the stock return pump. I also have a koralia (not sure of the number) for flow. I'm building my own media basket out of egg crate, so I should be set to run chemi-pure and purigen for filtration.

I'm missing a few screws to install the lights, but I hope to get those soon. ...probably won't be tomorrow though...it is Father's Day after all...and my very first Father's Day. :-)

In honor of Father's Day, here are a few pics of Alicia and I. She'll be 7 months old on the 21st. :)

Ok! Here we go!!

Light installation! Chris did an awesome job with these!! All I had to do was install them.

Dimmers were installed through the rubber switch cover. Works great for keeping the AIO look and feel.

I thought I would use my koralia...

but it was HUGE inside this cube.

So I removed it and just installed a MJ1200 for the return instead. Looks like I'll have plenty of flow with just that. I'm thinking I might tee off the loc-line in a Y and put rotating hydor water deflectors...but only if I find I have dead spots.

Here's the rock work in construction. Added the rock before the sand...planning to have a jawfish and don't want him causing an avalanche.

Here we have the FTS with sand and water. Still cloudy, but I expect it will clear up by tomorrow.

Picked up my first fish for the nano yesterday. He's a blue spot jawfish.

Here he is getting acclimated.

I put in a pile of small pieces of shells, coral skeleton, and lr pebbles for him to build with.

Here he is about an hour after I put him in the tank...checking things out.
