Davesgt's 12G Nano build

Well another small update. The pump that comes with the tank was about to send me to a whole new world of irritated with the noise. The fix was I purchased a Sicce Syncra 1.0 and had it overnighted, wow what a difference no more roaring sound lol

Added my first zoa to the tank the other day and it's doing great! Been trying to decide on a ATO for this tank, as of now the hydor unit looks really nice, but I'm still doing some research on ATOs for this size tank. Also gonna look at getting some pods to get some diverse life in the tank while trying to keep amphipods out

Ok a update pic of some of the Zoas going in, I'm trying to do it in steps lol

He gets a mix of live ghost shrimp , rosies, and guppies. I normally gut load all of them with shrimp pellets and brine.

Tried to do some close ups with the phone. Hopefully I can get a hill of a good camera for my next pics plus hopefully the Zoas will be a little happier next time.

cool i must have one lol. i wonder how they would do in maybe a mangrove tank
As long as you provide them with live food and feed only every 2-3 days they do great. Just don't keep anything else you don't want ate with them lol

Horrible picture taking skills but I'm learning lol

Yea should look great

Lucky, I had one for a few days, but it wasn't healthy and refused to eat. Its still my favorite freshwater fish though, my favorite is the silver arowana, I don't like all the fancy color morphs, the one exception is the the black arowana, its pretty awesome too.

Your tank is looking really good.

Here's my lungfish, kinda like a kid lol

Lungfish and arowana are the kings of the freshwater hobby (along with Arapaima and stingrays). To me, the only really cool freshwater fish are the ones that need 200+ gallon tanks. So sorry that he jumped on you, that sucks.

Yea it was bad, especially when I have waited tops. They only thing in the tank now is my lungfish(32" long) and my sailfin catfish(22") but I'm thinking about another Arowana or some peacock bass. The tank is .a little over 350 gallons
