Davesgt's 12G Nano build

I'm researching a frogfish. Do you have any advice for someone getting one? I read you're not supposed to feed them goldfish all the time, I guess there's feeder shrimp on eBay but that's 50 shrimp at a time. What are you going to do with 50 feeder shrimp at a time. Does he eat frozen?
As far as feeding only feed them twice a week cause they will eat too much and then refuse food for way too long and in the wild they usually only feed when something swims by. I know this sounds weird but I have convict cichlids that gives me babies every other week so I have a constant supply of food lol but I do mix it up with an occasional ghost shrimp from LFS usually around 10 cents. Rosies are a better choice to feed your angler instead of goldfish though

Oh yea they usually will never eat frozen, I have literally tried it all so I gave in and bought a 5 gallon for his food no light no just filter cost less that 20$ for everything. If you can't do this like I said LFS usually sell rosies 14 cents a piece and shrimp 10 cents so twice a week it's not bad at all

Here's a few more from today

Dave did your frogfish start out as a different color? Can't wait to get mine!
Yes he actually changes coloring some times lol, he will have deep red blotches from time to time depending where he is residing in the tank. He will stay in one place for a day or two and change colors. Sometimes him and my Sally lightfoot run all over the tank together lol

I would love to get a frogfish! I didn't know they
A.) Could fit in a nano tank
B.) Are reef safe
Can they be housed with other fish? I have a bicolor blenny, would that be OK? Here's my tank thread: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/first-saltwater.243711/
Yea he is a dwarf Angler they do get bigger but not much. As far as reef safe yes he is he will not mess with any corals at all but he will eat any fish you have so he has to be by himself, the only thing I have with mine is a Sally lightfoot and they get along fine

They are La lakers but they are really bright. I've had 3 different types of them but these are the brightest. My Rastas are a close 2nd in brightness

I'll get a better picture 2mrw for ya

Got some new zoas, ill add more pics today.
