Been running around the house changing clocks that don't change automatically. The microwave and coffee maker may end up in the back yard.
I HATE DAY LIGHT SAVINGS TIME!!!
Arizona and Hawaii reefers enjoy the night off.

DLST might be one of the dumbest things we have invented.
But does give me an extra hour of daylight in the morning to walk my goldfish.

Luckily someone invented something in case the water sloshes out and i need to keep my feet dry.

I like the extra hours sleep but not liking it this moment either since I woke up early about an hour and a half ago east coast time ..

We have legislation in the works to change our time zone to Atlantic standard and get rid of dst, which would keep us in summer mode all year long. Only problem is we’re only doing it if Maine and mass do it too lol so come on you New Englanders help nh out!

I wish we would switch to DST and stay there. More daylight at end of day is best.

This is the correct answer. DLST is fine just keep in all year, why do we do this. It’s stupid in 21st century to image it still has any positive effect on productivity. I promise I’m minimally productive regardless of the time

As a night shifter, it really wonks up my schedule. Yeah, if I work an extra hour I get paid for it, but it sucks seeing 0200 hit twice (or alternatively, getting shorted an hour in the spring). But on the plus side, I think this is the first time in 3 DLST cycles that my Apex has updated its time automatically...

From what I understand, one of the original purposes of the "fall back" thing was so that schoolkids weren't waiting at the bus stop in the dark, which presented a safety hazard. Of course, in modern times with inappropriate long bus routes that start at 6 a.m., the kids will be waiting at the bus stop anyway, regardless of the time change.

So yeah, just do away with it.

It's a tease for me right now. I normally get out of work at 3:30 pm, home by 4ish. The last minute leaf raking/outdoor stuff usually gets done on the weekends now.

I never get to sleep in...ever. My internal clock wakes me up at 5:30 DST regardless of the day. I rarely sleep much past 7 am..the time I have to be at work. I'd have to stay up really late and screw up my sleep schedual to change anything.
