Dialing in dose

I do have question though. It is not going to be long before I am out of pre made components and have to switch to those that i mixed. I have read that they are stronger. How much will that affect my dose when that time comes?
Yes, they are stronger. We will see then, but I think you reef will eat more components over time. The balance keep them growing faster so they need more components.

What a journey! I read every...single...post to this point.
I am literally about to start the ion balancing/dialing in these parameters today with Aquaforest products and this process you have been undergoing and documenting has been extremely helpful @ken77 and @Anirban.
Great dedication, looking forward to seeing the results of your tank in the future @ken77.
After reading all that and knowing there's more to come, I feel like I owe @Anirban at least a beer for the advice. Thanks for your efforts!

I try to help. Its more of commitment of one reefer to another. Sharing knowledge dose not cost anything. If you have question just ask them. Ah cool. I like this forum too. I was just asking about Macna because New Orleans is about an hour from where I live. I was hoping I might be able to buy you a couple of beers in person if you were going to be there.

Don't worry what we are trying to figure out is at what reading these things gets settled down. There will be a reading where everything will stop jumping and we want that. Don't change anything the system will automatically adjust itself. How are the doses spread around the day?
