Dialing in dose

Tank is 160 gallons with 30 gallon sump. I have lots of rock i usually treat it like a 150 gallons and it seems to work ok

So total water volume including sump 150 G right.

Great, so now listen carefully....

First I want you to dose 40 ml KH plus twice so total 80 ml after every half an hour. So, within next 1 hour you will dose total 80 ml of Kh plus.

Second, after half an hour of dosing the final KH plus dose 300 ml of Mg solution you made yesterday.

Alk = 7.34
Ca = 470
Mg = 1440

We need to increase your Alk someway. How much Kh plus you have? Do you have any other Alk supplements?

I have 25 ml of af kh plus.
I also have some af kh buffer for making the solutions.

Dissolve 16o gm of Kh buffer in 1 litre water. Then add 125 ml of that before dosing start tonight. Nothing else.

Check Alk tomorrow morning if possible and if it come down lower than 7.8 dkh then dose 50 ml more.

Ok, no problem double it up by adding 1litre more . So, 160 gm in 2 litre total. Then dose 200 ml.

Mg 1455
I checked alk at 6 am this morning it was 8.23 so i did not dose that dxtra 50 ml.
