Dialing in dose

I have one of the 150 ml bottles. Ok i will go head and dose that. Then we wait till tomorrow night?

Yes we wait and possibly we will see the Alk and Ca going down. Today due to lesser Mg the Ca and Alk went up.

I hope things are going well for you today. Here are my evening test results.
Alk = 9.46
Ca = 485 OR 490 Hard tell it was right at the end of the syringe.
Mg = 1485

Great....now today you dont dose anything....that means nothing including your daily doser dosing. Just sit back and try to test in the morning and then tomorrow evening.

I test my tank about 9 hours ago just before i left for work.
Alk = 9.02
Ca = 485
Mg = 1440
I will check it again to night at the time as usual.

Great...but the Ca is stuck because Mg is low. Where do you want your Alk? I think 8-8.2 should be good. So, switch on doser and set it to dose component 123 plus 40 ml total each day from tomorrow morning. Also dose 50 ml Mg plus tonight.

I like alk around 8. So i am good with alk between 8 and 8.2. How would suggest i split the dose up. Before i was splitting the dose evenly over a 24 hr period with there being an hour between the dose for component but that seemed problematic when it was time to shut off the doser.

Ok, 6 doses 7 ml each total 42 ml for next 24 hour if possible start tonight. Don't forget to dose 50 ml Mg plus before starting. Keep gap of 1 hour in between Mg plus and first dosing. Keep 15-20 min gap between each dosing.

After we get this dialed i amgoing have to get you to explain to me how the math works for this. You obviously know exactly how to manipulate the doses to get the concentrations to move the direction you want them to. I gave up on three part two years ago because i could never get it dialed in properly

How much Mg plus you have in stock?

Some where between 50 and 100 ml i will have to pour it into a grduated clylinder to check.
