I have some aquaforest Ca plus. I will try to raise it in the morning. Is there an online calculator for how much to add?

Reefgrow.com, but it may specific to their products and thats also what I use!

On 3- 1 i added a doser to my 150 gallon tank and started trying get my dose right. My tank a mixed reef but it is more sps. I do have some large sps colonies. I would my tank is in the high demand or the top of the med. I started at 150 ml per day. Here are my results for the last 13 days.

I am up to dosing 190 mls a day. I raised it to that on March 7. Have not incresed the dose since then. I have never raised the dose more than 10mls a day. As you can see my alk seems to be jumping around. I have used a graduated cylinder and calibrated and test my dosing pump it is spot on. From 3-9 to 3- 12. I thought i was getting close. I am at a lose to explain the jump to 7.73 today. I am using a hana checker. Any suggestions? I didnt think it was supposed to be this hard to dial in.

Alk was 7.5 and ca was 400 this morning. I dosed the 100ml of alk after the testing

I got good news but you are going want shot me. Checked the mg this morning it was 1500. I was very frustrated with this. I went on you tube and watched a video of someone doing mg test. They were drawing the syringe all the way to the top and then moving it down to the ten ml mark. I have always just stopped at the ten ml mark. I think that was causing me to have 1 ml less of reagent in the syringe. I tested the mg that way and it was 1425.

You can just add 150 ml of the Ca solution

Ok one last thing. I am going to need to mix more kh and ca solution. I have used almost all of what you had me mix. What concentration should i mix them at?

Kh Buffer 80 gm in 1000 ml RODI and 50gm of Calcium in 1000ml RODI.

Dont know how mg go up with out dosing anything.

100 ml Alk tonight plus 200 ml Ca within 30 min difference
Tomorrow morning 100 ml more alk and 50 ml Ca
