Digi Forest Resurrection

I use DIY Filter Socks, and as of late I have been loving them more and more. When I first started out, they barely lasted two days or less! But after a time, between feeding with a DIY frozen food screen and regularly vacuuming my sand, the filter socks have lasted longer. Just today I pulled them out after about four plus days. They only had to come out because I vacuumed the sand.. Creating a storm in the tank!

I should note, I only did what amounts to half the substrate. The filter socks were getting full and I didn't feel like lifting the lights higher to get the middle section.

Today was fun:

- 10G water change with Aquaforest Reef Salt
- Tank walls scrubbed
- Light acrylic shield cleaned
- Vacuumed the sand bed

I started some repair work on my new skimmer set up, only bad part was the clips for the swabbie were not as I thought they were (no photos on Avasts website).

I'll have to sand down the glue spots once it dries and hardens.

I got a new fish addition... A Bluethroat Trigger!

He looks great and was not afraid of me at the store. This morning he came out but hasn't fed yet. He quickly learned where the food comes out of though (My DIY frozen food mesh). I am hoping tomorrow or even later today he'll actually eat.

So I was given a mint condition iPad 1, and since I have no display, I figured what a great opportunity! I have a cord if I need to recharge it, but I wake it up if I want to see the info or if I am doing work and need to turn my equipment on it off.
