Very cool, I really want a sea swirl too for my 75gal. I'm thinking the 3/4" model. I'd like to install it in the corner but am not sure how that will work or look, or if that is possible. Looking forward to see how you like them!

I've had them before, and loved them! I took them our when I wanted to try a new set up, but missed having them so much, and realized I could use one. It will replace the Tunze 6095 on the right side of the tank.

Okay, I glued the actual Sea Swirl related adapters together, now comes the main piping to the return. I am so nervous because I like to keep things as clean and unstained as possible. So far I got a minor smudge of primer on one of the adapters.. But it's small, on gray color, and on the non viewable side.

I would have taken pictures but my healing foot started complaining so I got a heat pad to appease it. I am so done with this waiting on this foot to be 100% again!

So I finally finished, after being constantly distracted by other reef stuff or family.

So far so good, no leaks and the work looks clean overall. I did check out the flow, and I think it's pretty lame. I'll either take the output from 1" to 3/4" or 1/2". I just need to find a black reducer so as not to make the tank look weird.

Aside from that, the tank looked great. I now have a very short list of things to do and I should be set for a while.

So I am super excited today! I received my new Alk checker (dKh) and decided to test my tank in total. Here's what he have:

My Alk and Cal is officially balanced! I am dosing equal parts of both now and my parameters match! The rest of the parameters are pretty spot on where I want them.

I love this skimmer! I am literally torn about replacing it after I finish modding the used CS-1. Least I have a while to think about it.

I dosed my Prodibio BioDigest today and left the skimmer off for a couple hours. It is a week early, but my last dose was a screw up.. I forgot to turn off my skimmer and I idiotically did a water change right afterward. I'll learn one day.

I forgot I had Aviary (Photo App), so after taking a picture I played with it.

I have a new bulb combo. I removed my Aqua Blue Special and Actinic, and replaced it with a Coral Plus and a Blue Plus. The tank looks a little blurry, but I like it so far.

I also think a new cell phone is in my near future. I am constantly running out of memory on this one and I want a better camera.
