this brings another question if not egg crate than what can we use for frag racks...this is getting interesting..anyways i have added a lying around cp40 pump which is strong enough to provide some good water movement on my frag tank..i am only using it at 50% for now...i was stunned to see the amount of detritus it blew yesterday when i added it...

ok guys to sum up this thread i added a 1000 gph hydor koralia, some snails and a yellow tang and yellow koris wrasse as well as a 5” live rock from my sump...since i made these changes i have not seen any algae......it was not Dino it was green hair algae and it got eaten away by the snails and my yellow tang...as you can see from the picture below the tank looks much clean now...i think the live rock helped the denitrifying bacteria to grow on it, yellow tang and snails took care of the algae...the end result a good clean fragtank....thanks to you all for helping out....i am hoping this thread can help other reefers.....
