Like another big piece or 2, it's just i wanted to leave room to be able to clean the walls just in case i get algae, thanks for the reply

A couple larger rocks helps a lot, as well as some rubble to make arches and leave up front.
As long as you leave about 2 inches from the glass you should be able to clean it. The back wall isn’t so important to clean (and a black background makes algae hard to see on the back anyway).
Having some big rocks in the back and small ones up front helps to make smaller tanks look a lot larger than they really are.

I would add more rock, and if you can I would add some live rock, as its very benificial for the aquarium and speeds up cycling.

Definitely. Rule of thumb is 1lb of rock per gallon. Don’t have to live and die by this but it definitely helps as the more rock you have the more surface area you have for your bacteria to live on and in.

The caribsea life rock like that is really good. I got the purple stuff and there is a lot more in there than you’d expect.

you don't need it, but it would be good to have. Also is that tank cycled? those shrimp will not survive an un-cycled tank. Also, place rocks beneath the sand, otherwise they could crush something while its burrowing

I rather not use live rock because of pests, most advocated dry because no pest I'm dosing nitrifying bacteria every day, and i also have ruble with coral i got that I have attached to the rock so i think that should also seed the tank ? Some even have Coraline algae.

Bottled bac will not instantly cycle your tank.

I wasn't talking about live rock though?

Im saying your tank could use more rock but its not needed, and to make sure that there is no loose rock or rock placed on top of the sandbed as it can move and crush/cut/kill things.

I just want to do a bunch of soft corals and some of the hard with fleshy polops coral, i forget there acronym
