It's a matter of what you want to keep and your filtration. Fish only you don't need tons of rock unless you need more hiding places, in this case it doesn't like like there is a lot of hiding. If you want low light demanding corals they will do nicely there. High light demanding you would need some structure higher in the water column. Also rock aids a great deal in biological filtration.

Probably nobody was nice enough to say it yet but yeah you need more rock.

you don't need it, but it would be good to have. Also is that tank cycled? those shrimp will not survive an un-cycled tank. Also, place rocks beneath the sand, otherwise they could crush something while its burrowing
I think it has, been dosing bacteria daily and seeded with rubble, i used tap water , big boy molted

Tap water is not at all good for SW, it throws nutrients out of wack. FW and SW environments are very different, In SW, you should use RODI or pure distilled water to mix salt and top-off tank. Molting is not always a sign of good health. Even if you use conditioner, its not good.

additionally a (healthy) cycled SW tank has 0.0 ammonia.

Very high in calcium, i have no trouble keeping freshwater inverts, it must be good conditions since he molted right?
Basically everything your tank needs is in water is in the salt mix, the stuff in tap water (even conditioned) does not make SW creatures healthier, at best it encourages growth of harmful algae, at worst it kills your animals.

Like another big piece or 2, it's just i wanted to leave room to be able to clean the walls just in case i get algae, thanks for the reply
you will get algae no matter the tank. if you properly glue and settle rocks you can create stable stacks and caves while leaving space near the walls clear.

Thank you for the information i will take that into account when redoing the aqua scape, can i leave the molt in there or do i need to take it out?

doesn't really matter, if you don't like how it looks you can remove it. If you leave it in itll either get eaten or just disintegrate
